Created at the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the ramjet engine with oblique direct detonation has no moving elements and consists of only three main elements: a single-stage air intake, a hydrogen fuel injector, and a combustion chamber that opens to the upper end of the air intake.
