Scientists from Samara University, together with a team from the University of Missouri, have developed an algorithm based on a unique routing method that allows to increase the data transfer rate by up to 50%.
The Neighborhoods Method algorithm provides fast and reliable access to powerful data centers for solving complex technological problems. Its essence lies in the fact that the user needs to set four requirements: signal bandwidth, information transfer rate, cloud storage and cost. Based on them, the algorithm presents the client with a lot of options within the established framework, offering the best solutions.
Scientists say the method works equally well for both fiber-optic networks and Wi-Fi. The quality and speed of data transfer is increased by determining the optimal search path, which can increase efficiency by up to 50%.
