LG to partner with Assa Abloy Entrance Systems to install 55-inch transparent OLED displays in glass sliding doors.
The built-in displays with a resolution of 1920×1080 will be protected by tempered glass on both sides. They will get support for 120% BT.709 color gamut, 10-bit color depth with brightness levels up to 400 nits and 1ms response time. With 38% door transparency, self-illuminating pixels provide vivid color reproduction with wide viewing angles.
The set will include special software for displaying information.
These automatic doors can be installed in shopping malls, office buildings, airport lounges and other public places. When a person approaches, on them important messages for visitors and employees or promotional materials will be displayed.
