GeekBrains will teach students the basics of working with artificial intelligence and creative thinking

GeekSchool is launching two new courses for kids and teens. Younger students will be able to learn creative thinking, and older children – the basics of working with artificial intelligence.

A three-month course on creative thinking and inventive problem solving will start for children from 6 to 11 years old and their parents. It is suitable for children who are interested in drawing and art, for those who are fond of games and creativity..

The program is aimed at developing creativity and broadening one’s horizons. The teaching uses the principles of lateral thinking and the theory of inventive problem solving – with their help, the guys will learn how to generate ideas and find non-standard solutions, and at the end they will create a model of a fabulous city. At the end of the course, the child will be able to calculate the time and predict the result himself, find non-standard solutions and perform tasks in stages.

For older guys, 15-17 years old, GeekBrains launches a course on introduction to artificial intelligence. In three months, teens will get acquainted with the basics of artificial intelligence, learn how to work with mathematical operations, collect datasets and create machine learning algorithms. The course is suitable for those who love technology, are interested in artificial intelligence, or are just starting to program.

The course introduces children to the profession of a data scientist. Students will deepen their knowledge of programming, linear algebra and mathematical analysis.
