Deutsche Bank plans to launch a cryptocurrency storage platform

Deutsche Bank announced its intention to create an integrated storage platform for digital assets of an institutional level in 2021.

The upcoming custody service will provide customers with seamless access to the cryptocurrency ecosystem through hot / cold storage solutions and insurance coverage, according to a World Economic Forum report..

The German financial conglomerate plans to launch the service in stages, but ultimately users will be able to buy and sell digital assets, working directly with issuers, brokers and trusted exchanges. In parallel, Deutsche Bank will offer related services related to lending, taxation of digital assets, their valuation, management of crypto funds, equity participation.
