A Forbes poll showed that 7 out of 9 Russian investors in TON are not going to return the funds invested in GRAM. The rest of the investors are not satisfied with the return amount – 77% of the contribution, so they will wait until April 30, 2020. TON project attracted $ 1.7 billion in investments.
The share of Russian investors in ICO TON does not exceed 7%. Among them is the co-founder of the fund «The token fund» Vladimir Smerkis, owner of FC «Chelsea» Roman Abramovich, co-founder of QIWI Sergey Solonin ($ 17 million), co-founder «Wimm-bill-danna» David Yakobashvili ($ 10 million). The amount of Roman Abramovich’s investments in the project is not known, but according to the representative of the billionaire, John Mann, the maximum amount of a contribution from one Russian investor is no more than $ 20 million.
Most of the businessmen interviewed by Forbes invested money to support Pavel Durov’s idea, so they are not going to leave TON before the platform is launched. But not all depositors are optimistic. One of the respondents lost faith in the success of the project and is already counting options for reaching zero.

The decision to refund funds is made by a majority vote of investors from the 1st and 2nd rounds. If 51% of the round votes decide to return the funds, all investors will receive 77% of the money spent on GRAM by October 31.
Recall that the main problem of launching the platform was the recognition of the GRAM token as a security, and hearings on this case will take place on February 18-19, 2020..
